Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. On or about December 2, 2021, it was reported that AV missed his/her required medication. During the investigation, it was discovered AV missed his/her required medications on multiple occasions. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV’s medication was available to be administered as ordered. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00480 $500.00 fine assessed
