Findings: On or about December 22, 2021, the facility discovered a discrepancy in the narcotic logbook. Narcotic logbook indicates administration of pain medication to AV, the medication administration record does not indicate AV was administered the narcotic medication. AP2’s Narcotic count was off. AP2’s actions are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitute financial abuse. The facility failed to protect resident from financial exploitation, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
