Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to wear compression socks and receive assistance putting them on. It was observed that AV’s lower legs and feet appeared swollen, and he/she did not have compression socks or wraps on his/her feet. AV reported staff does not assist with compression socks or stocking. AV reported his/her feet hurt from the swelling. The facility failed to follow the care plan, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
