Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) moved into the facility on or about March 2, 2022, and the facility did not start administering AV’s medications until approximately noon on March 15, 2022. AV missed multiple doses of all ordered medications which included a blood pressure lowering medication, which put AV at risk of serious harm. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV’s medications were administered as ordered. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01229 $1500.00 fine assessed
