Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. On or about March 9, 2022, AV was having increased behaviors and the facility did not have his/her prn medications available. The Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) told facility staff to give AV medications from another resident, and also asked them to give the resident additional medication that AV did not have an order for. AP2’s actions are a violation of resident rights and constitute financial exploitation. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
