Findings: On March 19, 2022, it was discovered that approximately 1 week before, the Alleged Victim (AV) was being transferred, by facility staff, using a mechanical lift. AV slid or fell, resulting in bruising to the left side of AV's body and head. The facility failed to maintain a safe environment for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01144 $500.00 fine assessed
