Findings: On or about March 25, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) suffered a fall in his/her bathroom. AV pressed his/her call pendant to alert staff, however, no staff arrived. AV was on the floor of his/her bathroom for over an hour waiting for assistance. AV was not injured, however, the next day complained of pain to his/her hip and back. The facility's failure to answer the call light timely caused AV unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-01082 $250.00 fine assessed
