Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) ran out of incontinence supplies and has experienced increased incontinence episodes while waiting for facility staff to respond to h/h call light for assistance, resulting in AV sitting in soiled garments causing redness, pain, and unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to appropriately care plan and implement reasonable interventions to address AV’s increased need for assistance with incontinence care, which is violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00985 $500.00 fine assessed
