Findings: The facility failed to appropriately care plan and provide care for the Alleged Victim (AV). AV was found to have decubitus ulcers on h/h buttock that required medication. Staff were not monitoring these wounds and the condition worsened causing pain and unreasonable discomfort. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00747 $225.00 fine assessed
