Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victim’s (AV) injections were administered with meals as ordered. According to documentation H/S received injections without a meal, Resulting in AV being sent to the ER and experiencing unreasonable able discomfort. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01833 $450.00 fine assessed
