Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for h/h care. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV medications were given per physician orders. In April and May 2022, there were multiple medication errors, which led to AV exhibiting multiple symptoms and causing AV unreasonable discomfort and fear. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is violation of resident’s rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00213 $300.00 fine assessed
