Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned for assistance with toileting and will use his/her call light to alert staff when assistance is needed. On multiple occasions, AV had to wait more than 20 minutes and one time over an hour for the call light to be answered, causing unreasonable discomfort for AV. The facility's failure to answer the call light in a timely manner is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01264 $500.00 fine assessed
