Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) returned from the hospital on June 6, 2022, with a prescription for a diuretic. AV did not receive the medication for 3 days. AV gained 3 lbs in 3 days after not receiving the medication. Not receiving the diuretic as described placed AV at risk for serious harm. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
