Findings: On or about June 26, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) and Witness 1(W1) got into a resident-to-resident altercation resulting in a skin tear to AV. The facility failed to follow AV’s care plan that stated to redirect AV when they were getting into other residents’ personal space. The failure resulted in AV getting a skin tear, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01531 $188.00 fine assessed
