Findings: On or about June 25, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) was given another resident's medication by Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2), placing AV at risk for harm. AP2 was not delegated to dispense medication and had not had his/her verification of skills checklist completed. The facility failed to ensure AP2 was properly trained and delegated prior to letting him/her dispense medication on his/her own. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00839 $500.00 fine assessed
