Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to be showered twice weekly and staff are to evaluate h/h skin every time he/she receives a shower and skin issues are to be reported immediately. Documentation AV was found to have skin breakdown, and no documentation or reporting was completed as care planed. The facility failed to follow the care plan which is a violation of resident’s rights is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-01080 $500.00 fine assessed
