Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. From approximately May 2022 through July 2022, there are multiple documented instances where AV’s medications were not onsite and available for administration to AV. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure medications were ordered and administered according to physician orders, causing AV unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide necessary care, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-01057 $500.00 fine assessed
