Findings: On or about August 3, 2022, Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) was passing medications and gave another residents medication to the Alleged Victim (AV). AV self-induced vomiting and was sent to the emergency department for evaluation. AV returned to the facility and placed under 72 hour observation. AP2's actions are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitute abuse. The facility's failure to ensure AP2 had a current background check and to ensure a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
