Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to have a safety check during night shift. On or about July 24, 2022, AV was found on the floor in his/her room at 5:00 AM by staff. AV had a soiled brief and looked like he/she had been on the floor for a while. AV tried to call for assistance, but no one came to his/her aid. AV was sent to the hospital and it was determined that AV had suffered a cardiac event. The facility's failure to follow the care plan is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-00105 $250.00 fine assessed
