Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services and care plan according to the Alleged Victim’s (AV) needs. On or about July 16, 2022 the Alleged Victim (AV) had a fall that resulted in a fractured finger. There is no documented evidence that the facility was following the care plan, which stated to monitor AV’s skin at least one (1) time per day and report any discoloration, bumps or lumps, or that the facility placed additional interventions in place after the fall. The failure caused AV unreasonable discomfort, is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01772 $1500.00 fine assessed
