Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system and failed to obtain medication order. It was discovered Alleged Victim (AV) injectable medication was not placed on the eMAR, a prescription was not obtained from AV provider, prescription was not filled, and AV did not receive h/h injectable medication. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00067 $1000.00 fine assessed
