Findings: On or about August 25, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) was found to have facial swelling and pain in his/her mouth, and was placed on antibiotics due to an abscess. The dentist was not contacted until September 8, 2022, and an appointment was not made. AV's Physician did come out on September 12, 2022, and at that time, AV's abscess had resolved. The facility's failure to provide service to AV is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-00166 $250.00 fine assessed
