Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victims (AV) medication orders were administered as prescribed. It was discovered AV did not received h/h prescribed medication from approximately August 22, 2022, to August 24, 2022, which resulted in AV being in intense pain and transported to the emergency room. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00073 $1500.00 fine assessed
