Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services for Alleged Victim (AV) according to his/her needs for assistance with incontinence care. On or about October 16, 2022, AV had a toileting accident and pressed the call light for assistance. However, facility staff failed to respond to the call light until hours later which was after the AV's family had already come and cleaned AV up. The failure resulted in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00294 $250.00 fine assessed
