Findings: On or about October 17, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) suffered unreasonable discomfort due to being left on the commode for an unreasonable amount of time. AV pressed his/her call light on multiple occasions that day, one time resulting in staff not answering the call light for 4 hours. The facility failed to answer the call light in a timely manner and properly staff according to resident needs, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes emotional abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00166 $250.00 fine assessed
