Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) was on hospice and complaining of pain. On or about November 9, 2022, the facility received pain medication for the AV at approximately 6:55 pm, which was to be administered every 4 hours. The facility did not administer this medication to AV until November 10, 2022 at 12:09 pm. The facility failed to administer medication to AV, causing unnecessary pain and discomfort. The facility failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-01181 $500.00 fine assessed
