Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services for Alleged Victim (AV) according to his/her needs for assistance with incontinence care. AV is full assist with toileting and is care planned to be toileted every two to three hours. Based on facility documentation and interviews, AV's care plan was not followed and AV was left in soiled briefs all day more than once. The failure resulted in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort and a loss of personal dignity which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00290 $250.00 fine assessed
