Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services according to resident needs. According to an investigation, on or about December 4, 2022, the Alleged Victim (AV) had a non-injury fall in the bathroom and pressed his/her call light for assistance. The call light was not answered in a timely manner due to lack of staff, which resulted in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort and a loss of personal dignity. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care which constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00262 $250.00 fine assessed
