Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. AV reported his/her wallet was stolen/missing. There was $101 in cash that was taken. AV had seven (7) charges pending on his/her card, totaling $768.74 at five (5) different stores. It is believed that an unknown Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2), may have taken AV’s wallet. AP2 failed to protect AV, from financial exploitation, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
