Findings: On or about January 2, 2023, the Alleged Victim (AV) noticed he/she was missing 3 items from his/her bathroom after he/she saw Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) use his./her bathroom and leave the room. AP's actions are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitute financial abuse. The facility failed to ensure that AP2's background check was approved prior to letting AP2 work in the facility unsupervised, knowing that AP2 had a criminal history. The facility's failure to protect AV from financial abuse is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
