Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. One of AV’s pain medications was not refilled timely and on approximately January 8, 2023, the medication ran out causing AV to miss approximately six (6) doses of medication in a row, resulting in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system and administer medications as ordered, which is a violation of resident’s rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-00853 $300.00 fine assessed
