Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about January 14, 2023, AV was walking by Witness 1 (W1) while W1 was sitting in a chair. AV placed their hand on W1’s chair and W1 grabbed AV’s hand and pulled them causing AV to fall to the ground, putting AV in risk of harm. AV has been involved in six prior resident-to-resident altercations between November 23, 2022, through January 10, 2023. The facility failed to provide a homelike environment for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-01164 $375.00 fine assessed
