Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. On or about January 29, 2024, AV was scheduled to receive four (4) pain medications including two (2) opioids at 8:00 PM. However, AV did not receive the schedule pain medications at the required time and as a result, AV suffered a lot of pain and was unable to sleep due to the missed pain medications. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-01179 $250.00 fine assessed
