Findings: Witness #1 (W1) is known to engage in altercations with other residents and staff. On or about February 11, 2023, W1 went into the Alleged Victim's (AV) room, and when AV asked W1 to leave, W1 backed AV into a corner and hit AV in the chest, leaving a bruise on AV's chest and back. The facility's failure to properly care plan regarding W1's aggressive behaviors resulted in AV receiving bruises from W1. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-01007 $375.00 fine assessed
