Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for h/h care. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV medications were given per physician orders. On at least, January 22, 2023 and February 25, 2023, there were medications that were not available at the facility to administer per AV’s physician order. This led to AV exhibiting multiple symptoms, causing unreasonable discomfort, and AV going to the hospital for treatment. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is violation of resident’s rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The Alleged Perpetrator (AP2) actions were not solely responsible for the medications not being available.
