Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his or her care. On or about February 15, 2023, AV was in pain and did not receive pain medication as ordered. This continued for approximately five (5) days causing repeated unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system and administer pain medication as ordered, which is a violation of resident rights is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-00980 $500.00 fine assessed
