Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure the Alleged Victim’s (AV) medication was administered as ordered. On or about February 25, 2023, medication was given to AV that was for another resident, AV was transported to the hospital for treatment. The failure resulted in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort, which is violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
