Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for the Alleged Victim’s (AV) sliding scale insulin. The failure resulted in the AV’s blood sugar to crash causing them to pass out and required medical treatment at the hospital, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
