Findings: Witness 1 (W1) is known to not like people in his/her space, and to be territorial and has a chair in front of his/her room but gets mad when wanderers are there. On or about March 25, 2023, Alleged Victim (AV) was found in the entrance of W1’s apartment on the floor. AV was knocked to the ground by W1 and as a result, he/she sustained a bruise on the right eye. AV and W1 have been in prior altercations. W1 has been in prior altercations in which other residents have sustained injuries. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV, which is a violation of resident rights is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-01327 $375.00 fine assessed
