Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) has a known history of UTI’s. According to an investigation, on or about February 16, 2023, the facility contacted AV’s doctor to request a UA for a possible UTI. There was no follow-up with the doctor's office until approximately February 27, 2023, based on no documentation and the doctor’s office having no record of calls. AV was prescribed an antibiotic on or about February 27, 2023, and on or about March 2, 2023, was diagnosed with a UTI. The facility failed to assure timely medical treatment, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
