- Findings
- Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care needs. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) accepted two (2) checks made out to him/her from AV. AP2 purchased 2 seaters online for AV and accepted a check for $25 from AV as a gift. AP2 was trained on abuse and was provided information regarding the company policy on accepting gifts and gratuities.AP2 failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect AV from financial exploitation, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
