Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. On or about May 12, 2023, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) administer the wrong insulin to AV when they did not verify the medication against the MAR. AP2 failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
Sanction: RCFCP23-01208 $500.00 fine assessed
