Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to have the Alleged Victim’s (AV) PRN medication available. On or about May 25, 2023, and June 12, 2023, the AV requested their PRN steroid medication to reduce inflammation in their foot. On both occasions, the AV was told the medication was not available and would have to order it causing pain and unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-00761 $250.00 fine assessed
