Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate services for Alleged Victim (AV) according to his/her needs requiring 2 person transfers and assistance with toileting. On or about July 12, 2023, AV pushed his/her call light for assistance to transfer and toilet and no one came for approximately 5 hours, causing AV to soil themselves. AV experienced unreasonable discomfort and a loss of personal dignity which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP23-01310 $1500.00 fine assessed
