Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned for mobility, dressing, undressing, and for staff to take meal orders and deliver them to AV’s room. According to an investigation, on several occasions, AV either did not receive meals or received meals late. It was also determined that AV was left in his/her clothing overnight on multiple occasions. The facility failed to provide follow the care plan, which resulted in AV experiencing repeated unreasonable discomfort and a loss of personal dignity. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP23-00781 $500.00 fine assessed
