Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to ensure AV’s basic care, safety and supervision requirements are met. On or about July 24, 2023, Witness 1 (W1) found AV in his/her bed, W1 then dragged AV out of the bed by AV’s arms, resulting in bruising to AV. This has not been the only altercation between AV and W1, on or about June 6, 2023, W1 and AV had an altercation when AV entered W1’s room that resulted in AV sustaining injuries. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00259 $500.00 fine assessed
