Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. AV’s depression medication was not administered for 42 days between July 16th through August 27th, 2023. AV’s dementia medication was not administered between July 26th, through August 27, 2023. The facility did not follow up with the pharmacy; AV’s adult child or the VA to acquired AV’s medication. The facility has not been timely reporting the need to refill medication to AV’s adult child. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
