Findings: According to the documentation, the facility failed to prevent the Alleged Victim (AV) from leaving the facility unsupervised by facility staff. On or about October 1, 2023, the AV was let out of the locked facility by another resident’s family. The facility noticed the AV was missing and found the AV outside the locked unit, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00511 $375.00 fine assessed
