Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) moved into the facility on October 10, 2023. The facility was to dispense AV's medication to him/her. AV's adult child gave the facility all of AV's medications to dispense beginning on October 11, 2023. Facility staff failed to dispense medication to AV for approximately 5 days, placing AV at risk for serious harm. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
