Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) was discharged from the hospital on or about November 05, 2023, with two (2) PRN pain medications. On or about November 06, 2023, AV was limping around and experiencing pain. AV was not given a dose of either PRN pain medication until November 07, 2023, resulting in AV experiencing unreasonable discomfort. The facility failed to administer medication as ordered, which is a violation of resident rights is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP24-00103 $250.00 fine assessed
